Birthdays and Fun!

Yesterday I was so tired. I didn't do much of anything. Well, that's not exactly true. I took my mom to Walmart. We went shopping and it was cool because she got Jordan a pair of pants, slippers and socks. She also picked out a sweater for Cassie that had Santa on it, but I knew Cassie would never wear it, so I talked my mom into letting me pick her out a shirt that I knew she wanted. It's so cool because I was able to get her the Happy Bunny Christmas shirt! It has Happy Bunny laying down with a candy cane and it says, "Been Good All Year," then under it says "For all you know!" LOL! She also got Cassie a red scarf. I wasn't sure if Cassie would like it but she does!

Of course, at Walmart I got the chance to sit at the McDonald's and get my soda. I filled up three times. I was so thirsty I drank the first one really quick. I also got a McDouble. While I waited I also read more of "The Mephisto Club." It is SUCH a GOOD book! I haven't picked it up today, but I might depending on how late I want to stay up.

Anyway, I played on the computer for a little bit but I was so tired I didn't do much. I wanted to go to sleep, but I ended up watching a bunch of "Criminal Minds" episodes. One was the second half of The Prince of Darkness, which I hadn't seen before. I'd seen the first half, but not the second. They don't seem to air them in order. I almost went to sleep before watching "Sanctuary" but instead I watched it. Then I had a hard time sleeping. I was exhausted, but I also ended up in the bathroom every hour or so it seemed.

Today it was really hard for me to wake up. I had thought about waking up around 10:30am, but I just couldn't do it so I slept until almost 2:00pm and Cassie's party started at Noon!! Anyway, I got up and left with coffee and present in tow. Cassie wanted "cookies" but I said no. I did remember to bring Cassie's blanket and Katie Kelly's pillow. I'm going to miss that thing.

When I got there the girls were already having fun. As soon as Cassie saw her present she opened it. Not like it was sealed up. It was in a gift bag and not taped shut. Anyway, she immediately started wearing the scarf so I knew she liked it! I also gave her the camera to take pictures in her bedroom with the girls since that's where they were. We got Cici's pizzas for dinner. I kicked in $10 from the $60 they owed me. It was worth it for the party and the pizza!! Their BBQ pork is still my favorite!! Then the girls ran around outsdie for a bit acting crazy like the teens they are. One of Cassie's friends had to leave because of the animals. She could only stay so long because she has bad allergies. But she was a sweet girl. I was just so happy Cassie was having fun. Apparently she didn't think anyone was going to come to her party and instead she got several people - Paige, Katie Kelly, Lakara, Maddie and I don't remember the other girl's name at the moment. So she ended up with a nice crowd. They are also going to watch a scary movie tonight! They picked "Insidious." Good thing I'm not watching it! LOL!

I eventually left because it's also Jordan's birthday. I promised him Moose Tracks ice cream. So I stopped at the store and got him the Extreme Moose Tracks which is his favorite, got myself chocolate milk which was good. Then I stopped and got a Diet Dr. Pepper from McDonald's and went home. When we got there, I asked my mom for candles and a lighter. She was in a bitchy-ass mood and I don't know why. I guess she just figured I was going over to Cassie's party just to say hello and come back. How stupid is that?? I said I was going over to take pictures. Anyway, I just ignored her. I put three candles in Jordan's ice cream. He lit them though. LOL! Then I took a pic of it, of him with it and stuff. He had his friend George over. He just stopped being interested in parties. Just a friend over and ice cream is all he wants.

Of course, one other thing I think was really nice was his girlfriend called! :-) They don't get to talk much so that was a nice treat for him I'm sure.

Anyway, not much else is going on. I got to watch most of "Four Brothers" and now I have "Swordfish" on though I don't know if I want to finish watching it. It's a good movie though. The thing is, I'm usually tired by now, but I'm not. I'm not totally wired either, just mellow. I think once I take my meds it might help me get sleepy. I don't know. I kind of want to do some reading or playing on Cafemom. I added all kinds of posts to "I'm Not Fat! I'm Fluffy!" I don't know, I might go back and play a little more on there but there really wasn't much to do at the moment.

Well, I guess, really, that's it. Tomorrow I don't know what I'll be doing. Guess we'll see! Maybe I'll get some writing done on a Fan Fiction. :-) I want to write about Eyal!

Got a Lot Done!

Damn I'm tired! I don't feel that great at the moment, but at least I had a pretty good day. I woke up groggy at 11:30am. I really wanted to keep sleeping, but that wasn't to be if I was going to get the car into Claudio to see what was wrong with it. I got up, got dressed, got coffee and when Susan arrived I left with her following me.

The first stop was to the bank to see if my money had come in yet and it did so I pulled it out. Of course, for some reason it gave me a different balance the first time!! Ugh! But eventually I got the right amount. From there she followed me to Claudio's. From there she went to go pick up Jason. I waited for Claudio to check the car and fix it. It turned out to be the 3 cylinder misfiring. He talked about the fact that he will eventually need to replace the manifold, but I don't think that's going to happen. If the car gets to that point I'll have to go without a car again, I guess, because that would be over $1000 to fix.

Anyway, while he waited for the part and then fixed it I decided to do some reading and I read about 42 pages of "Cowboys and Aliens." So far the book is better than the movie. Not that I don't want the movie. After that I went to Walmart at Grossmont. My mom wanted eggs and I figured I'd pick up what I needed to pick up while I was there - tampons, nose spray, woman's world . . . LOL! I also got a Diet Dr. Pepper from the McDonald's. After that I went to the vet and got Karissa her flea medication. From there, I went home to pick up Jordan after I had him take stuff inside.

After that, we went to CVS where Jordan not only picked up my medication but one of my mom's medications too. Then I took him to GameStop to pay off his "Skyrim" so that way all he has to do is pick him up on the 11th. From there we finally went to Cici's pizza and OMG it was good! I'm STILL full! LOL! So that's one buffet restaurant off my list and I did eat my fill.

Trying to get to the gas station near home it took us FOREVER! Next time I'm taking El Cajon Blvd. rather than College. There was so much freakin' traffic from the parking lots of the University. But eventually we got to the gas station. We had to stop at Taco Bell though to go to the bathroom. Jordan and I just couldn't hold it anymore. LOL! Then after we got the fuel we went up to Barnes & Noble. I didn't really want to go to the one at Grossmont, but it wasn't that bad. And it was closer than the one in Santee. I found a decent spot and went in. Not only did I find the book Cassie wanted, I found out that it was actually the second book of a series so instead I got her "Beautiful Creatures." I told her if she likes it I'll get her "Beautiful Darkness" for Christmas. I'm sure I'll hear all about it. :-D If it's good I might read it! Of course, I still need to finish "Passion." I also bought myself a book - Tess Gerritsen's "The Mephisto Club." Of course, I have to finish the two books I have going at the moment. I don't really like having two books going at the same time, but it just kind of happened.

Anyway, FINALLY we came home and I put on "Burn Notice" because the mid-season premiere was tonight at 10:00pm. So far it's pretty good. But when I got home, I put the flea medication on Karissa. She wasn't too happy with me. But then after a bit I made the mistake and kissed her close where I'd put the stuff. Now my lips tingle and have tingled for a couple of hours now. It might just be me being paranoid. After all, I think I'd be sick by now if just that much could poison me.

Then Cassie came home while Jordan was showing me a demo of "Skyrim" which actually looks pretty cool. I may have to watch him play a little bit. :-) But I couldn't resist giving Cassie her bday present now. I guess I rationalized it because Jordan is getting his bday present on the 11th and not his bday on the 19th. It all works out. That's all that matters and that means that both the kids will be happy this month and that's what really matters to me.

Anyway, it's been a pretty good day. Definitely a busy day. I'm pretty much broke now which kind of sucks, but at least I got the stuff done that I wanted to get done. Don't know what I'm doing tomorrow, but I think it'll be a good day. Maybe I'll spend the day reading. Finish one of the books I have . . . well, maybe. And maybe do some writing. :-) Sounds like a good day to me.

Possibilities

Today has been quite a day! A lot has happened. I didn't sleep well last night but I still got up at 9:00am and got dressed, got a raisin-cream cheese sandwich and made my coffee before Susan got there to take me down to my doctor's appointment. Everything seemed to be going well! My anxiety was high, but I was ready! Then I met the doctor and found out that he doesn't do bariatric surgery!! Needless to say I called the doctor's office and talked to Jackie in referrals. But when I got home I called Medi-Cal who referred me to Healthcare Options who told me to call HealthNet. I did and talking to a really nice guy that I didn't get his name and I kick myself for that. He basically called Vantage (a group in Healthnet) and got them to approve me to go see a Dr. Tanaka. Of course, when I went to call to make an appointment and the fax wasn't there! Ugh! But the woman said it might not have come through the server yet. So I call tomorrow and if not then I get to call Vantage myself and see what the problem is. They better not give me a freakin' run around. I really want to move forward on this. So we'll see what happens tomorrow.

After I made those calls I took my mom to Walmart. We did some shopping. My mom got Tim and Taylor bday presents. Taylor's bday was back in September but Tim's I guess was today. Once we were done with the shopping we went to the McDonald's where in line I met a guy! He's short but he seems really nice!! We started talking and hit it off. We commiserated about our Exs'! LOL! I ordered a soda for me and two McDoubles - one for me one for my mom. But he came over and sat with us. We kept talking and I was finally bold enough to give him my number then he gave me his and we also exchanged emails. I wrote him. He wrote me. I wrote him back! His name is Mark! My mom after was like "I wouldn't just start talking to someone." Okay, how do you meet people if you don't talk to anyone?? Anyway, there are possibilities for the future! Possibilities I didn't really think would happen! It's awesome!!

I also played on Cafemom. I wrote four poems today! One of the moms in "FANtastic Writers" really liked them. Especially the one I wrote about Cassie's break-up called "Little Heartbreak." I also put up a new words list in "The Writer's Workshop." I also decided to start another Fan Fiction. I haven't written one in awhile and I always  said I was going to write a follow up to my James Bond story so now I am. It's called "Christmas Joy" and we'll see where it goes! Not sure what the main part of the story is going to be except some exceptional sex scenes. LOL! Got to have those in there! But I want it to be a Christmas story. Not sure what to do. Then again . . . I think I do know what to do!! A pregnancy for New Year's! Maybe! Or Christmas! This is awesome. Hope I remember this for later! LOL! Now I have the extra element I needed.

Anyway, I'm going to chill out watching "Pawn Stars." There's going to be a Halloween episode! It ought to ROCK! It's on at 10:30pm. After that I might have Jordan come with me to the pharmacy because I have heartburn and the one thing the doctor did give me was a prescription for an acid reducer! LOL! He was a nice doctor!! :-D

Well, I think that's about it. It has been a very interesting day! A good day! A day filled with possibilities!!

On The Road Again!

You know, even after only getting three hours of sleep I still didn't fall asleep until like 3:00am! Crazy, huh? Needless to say, I slept until 1:00pm. Even now I feel exhausted. But I did get my ass up and dressed and I drove the car (though I was afraid to) to Claudio's. I thought for sure it was going to be tons of money, but it turns out that's not going to happen! At least not yet! I have a hole in the manifold. But it's a slow leak so Claudio thinks that if I just keep putting coolant or water into her she should be fine. I should be able to do that. I mean, I did the same thing when I had a small crack in one of the heads when I had the Taurus Wagon. Dang I still miss that car! That was my good car. She put up with a lot. Well, he/she. I always said I had twins inhabiting the car! :-D I was just happy that it wasn't worse. Claudio put three gallons of coolant into my Nelly along with at least a quart of oil, I guess. Then he was able to unstick my directional lights! Thank god! My mom was willing to pay for all of that, but she wouldn't get me windshield wipers. But I realized that I really, really needed them so Claudio put them on and I'm paying for them myself. Because Jason and Susan still owe me $20 from our Food for Cash I've asked them to take it to him. That way half of it will be paid off and I'll only have to worry about $20 more in November. I already have to be careful with my money - and it's the kids' birthday month. I think I have bday gifts in mind all ready. Well, Jordan's is Skyrim the Video Game. For Cassie I'm going to get her a book she wants. I can't remember the name of it at the moment, but she wants it so I'll get it for her. Then for Christmas I think I'm going to try to come up with a no cost present system for us. I mean, we can draw, write, make something - just do something that doesn't cost money because we just don't have any. Though I could get Cassie another book. But I can't get Jordan another game. Maybe I'll figure out something.

Anyway, my mom wasn't thrilled with paying anything for the car, but she knew that we needed it. In fact, as soon as it was fixed she needed me to take her to the bank. Then we went to Henry's which apparently is called Sprouts now. Then we went to Walmart and the 99 Cent Store. OMG! My back hurt so bad why the time we got home. It was nice though. I got soda and sweet tea today. Susan, Jason and Cassie brought me a Diet Dr. Pepper while I was waiting for Claudio to finish up. Then after we went shopping at Walmart we went to the McDonald's inside. She let me get a sweet tea. She wanted a soda so I got her the Extra Large for $1. Then she also got me two McDoubles. She ate half of one. I ate the rest and that has been fine for me. And before we left, I dumped out her Diet Coke and replaced it with Diet Dr. Pepper so I got a whole other soda!

Jordan was feeling like crap, but he brought everything inside. I then gave him some cold medicine and apparently it made him feel better because George and Nick came over and he went out with them. Guess he can't feel that bad.

Last night I also made a Week's writing commitment in one of my writing groups on Cafemom. I made it a commitment to write two pages every day. Today I wrote 2.5 pages! I think I'm off to a good start. I just finished a love scene and a marriage proposal. There might be another love scene before I move onto the next plot point. It's just nice to be moving on it again. Not only did it flow pretty well, but I was able to write at home too! While I was tired even. So that's going well. We'll see what tomorrow will bring! But I think I'll be able to stick with it. It's important I do anyway. I need to write everyday.

Well, I had an interesting talk with Cassie. Her teenage hormones are going crazy with her boyfriend. I'm kind of in a tough position. I don't want to condone having sex at her age, but I also don't want her to do it and then not be protected or emotionally ready. I told her to at least wait for their relationship to grow by a couple of months. At least that's something. But her emotions are all over the place too. Not so much about people, but just in general. I know it could just be the fact that she's a teenager, but she had a lot of valleys yesterday. She felt like crying then she's be okay. Then she'd feel like crying again. I don't know. I just want her to be okay.

Oh, she's all excited that I'm going out for a gastric bypass. She wants me to be thin so I can do things with her. Then I ran into someone today that has lost 200 lbs after getting the procedure. I got the appointment for Monday at 10:30am. I'm really nervous, though I'm more nervous about the fact that its in Chula Vista. That totally freaks me out. I don't like going outside my comfort zone. LOL! Susan will go with me. Or maybe even drive me. I hope so. I am so freaked out. I do wonder how long it will take for me to get the procedure done. I just know I want to do it now. It's just time.

Anyway, I have to go to Welfare tomorrow to turn in my QR7. I'm going to try to go in the morning and just get it done. I just don't want to get stuck in traffic and I don't want it to take too long. Poor Cassie is going to be so tired tomorrow. Tonight she just couldn't sleep to relax and go to sleep. I think part of that was because Susan's daughter Samantha was a total bitch to her. Sammy really has turned into a bitchy bitch just like her grandma. It's sad but oh well. I just couldn't believe what a bitch she was. I felt kicked in the gut when I read what she wrote to Cassie about not being her friend and NEVER having been her friend. What a fucking little bitch! I know I shouldn't say that about a girl my daughter's age, but she is and she's just like her grandmother who is just the same fricken way. But it upset Cassie a lot and I think even though she was able to think of some things to make her smile and laugh, I think she was still really upset. I know how I would have been.

Okay, that's enough. I need to get to sleep. I am exhausted. I need to set my alarm too. I need to make sure I get Cassie up and ready for school if she's not awake. Tonight I half watched "Auction Kings." I do like that show. Then I put on another show, but didn't watch it. I just need to take my meds, relax and sleep. I just have to be thankful that I have a car that runs, great friends that are more family than anything else and that my kids trust me so much to talk to me about very personal things. I am blessed with a lot and I just need to always remember and be thankful for it.

Time for bed.

Better But Not 100% Yet

I can't believe it! I'm starting to feel better! Yesterday I felt so horrible I was sure today was going to be just as bad or worse. But instead, I started feeling better in the early afternoon. In fact, I haven't really napped that much today. I have felt more energetic, but not a lot. Not like I ever am, but it's better than yesterday, but not as good as my normal either. I'm just happy that I'm feeling better. When I feel so bad it just seems like it's going to go on forever. Now maybe tomorrow I can work on my synopsis again and get back on track. I want to be back on track. It's important for me to get my ducks in a row and to set aside time to write or work on my writing endevors. I still want to have a finished synopsis of "Assassin's Seduction" by the 4th of October at the latest.

I can't believe how fast time is going by. In a handful of days we'll be in October! Soon it'll be Halloween, the kids birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas! It's all going to come fast and furious very soon.

I guess what I worry the most about when it comes to being on my schedule is just sitting back again and letting things go. I can't say I have my complete inspiration for writing back, but right now I'm still sick. I just want to be able to go forward. Writing is my field. It's what I was always meant to do. I just worry about being unproductive again. I don't want to be in that place. I want to keep going and moving forward and not going backward. I have been afraid that I'll go back to being stagnant and I just don't want that to happen again. I think I'm just going to try to do something pertaining to my writing everyday - that I'm not sick!! I do hope tomorrow I feel even better. That would make me feel really better!

Anyway, I basically have chilled out watching "River Monsters" today and "Hillbilly Hand Fishing." In about twenty minutes I'm going to be watching "Ghost Hunters" and after that hopefully I'll go back to sleep. I still need some rest. At least I'm getting better and not getting worse. Now I'm going to take my meds and chill out watching TV.

Oh and thank god Cassie could be somewhere else while I'm sick. It's so much better for her and keep her healthier!

Okay - moving on! LOL!

Well, the exchanging to emails with the gruesome twosome finally stopped after Nicole got one final email that threatened there would be pix posted on the net. Even if there weren't any pix to post, that's a threat and against the law. It's the same threats I was getting for her in the emails I was getting (Oh Kenny is so mad he's threatening to post the pictures of her kissing his dad . . .) Well, she didn't even kiss him, but the emails were also getting aggrivating I guess. Anyway, she called the sheriff and the sheriff calls Comatos Dean's phone - Denise answered!! She hung up on the officer too saying they had the wrong number. But he called back and had a chat with her. She apparently said we had been harassing her. Well . . . I kept every email so . . . But anyway, I haven't heard from her since and it's probably for the best - though I still have my MySpace fake blog and it's been interesting. I'm having loads of fun with that!

Anyway, Cassie had her party last week at Embassy Suites and for the most part it was a wonderful party! There were, however, two little girls that were acting up and I ended up sending them home. In 17 years I have NEVER had to send a kid home from a party. Anyway, because the boys were getting a ride back from one of the mothers the boys had to go too. They were rowdy, but not really that bad. They could have stayed a little longer.

Well, after those kids left and we only had Katie, Melissa, Samantha and Alicia, the party was fantastic! The girls spent most of the time swimming and then Elevator tag was great. Cassie got mostly Littlest Pet Shop so the girls all played that for awhile. So late that when they finally went to watch Wall-E that Cassie fell asleep shortly after it started! LOL! The next day was breakfast and more swimming! I tell you, I was so exhausted that I was asleep before 8pm and slept for a good 17 hours. Both Cassie and I woke up with sore throats so I let her stay home. After 17 hours of sleep though, we both felt better! LOL! I got a great photo of Cassie blowing out the candles on her cake. As soon as I can get the pix on a DVD-Rom, I'll be posting it. In fact, I'll just post the party pix!

Then on Wednesday was my son Jordan's official 17th birthday! He didn't really care about me fixing any big dinner, but I did make him a cake! I made him a chocolate cherry cake with chocolate frosting. Greg came over so that he could take Jordan to cash his check from his grandparents, use the Gamestop gift card that I got him and a little money Greg was willing to kick in to get the video game he wanted - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Anyway, Greg took this incredible pic of Jordan blowing out the candles and the candles are almost all the way out. It was awesome. But he has to give me that photo yet. It is a good one though. so it's just another I want to post and can't at the moment. LOL!

Cassie went in for a flu shot yesterday and ended up getting three other shots - booster for menegitis, Tetnus and gardisil. She still needs a booster for chicken pox which I might remember the doctor when she goes in for a physical. As it is, I need to take Jordan in for a physical and he's going to need a whole series of shots too. And I have an appointment for a physical on Monday - finally. I kept putting it off, so I finally decided to bite the bullet and just do it or I wasn't going to. So we'll see what the doctor has to say.

And lastly, tomorrow is Jordan's birthday party! It's not going to be anything big. He didn't want anything big. He wanted just some friends over. But NOT here. Can't blame him with my mother and Diana being even worse some days. So we're having it over at Jason and Susan's. What's so nice is that they're getting him some pizzas and a cake! Yay! Or I would be making one. And other than that, the kids are just going play video/pc games. Boys are not hard to please really. LOL!

Tonight though, it looks like we might have to take Cassie in to urgent care to get a stupid Doctor's note. I can't wait for tomorrow and the doctor never called me back - or rather the nurse. Having to get a doctor's note each time is a real pain in the ass. They just want her in that seat no matter how horrible she feels. At least the good thing tonight is that I get to see Atlantis tonight. It sucks though, because they're not going to renew the series. They're going to send it to movies like they did SG-1. Well, they only did 2 movies for SG-1! That wasn't enough. Who knows what they'll do for Atlantis . . . Hopefully at least 2. But we'll see.

Anyway, just a lot of ups and downs. Life gets crazy! All we can do is keep going - NEXT! Moving On!!

On the dark side of life

I would love to say that my life is happy and wonderful all the time. Or that my problems are few and fleeting and I can manage to get past them with the forced smile, having it end up only a little bump in the road. But that's not my lot in life. It never was. I was born from an affair, and though my birthmother had the best intentions for my life, she chose a couple where the woman was an obesseve-compulsive bitch that didn't want me to begin with and only did it because her husband (my dad) wanted a baby. Maybe in the beginning she thought she could mold me into a mini version of herself like she had done with her other daughter. I grew up hearing just how perfect she was compared to me (and she's at least 22 years older than me). I also heard what a slob I was. How I never listened. That I was a brat . . . that I was fat. Yeah, that was a big one. Always another diet . . . No wonder I was suicidal when I was just 9-10 years old. During my teens, she made my life hell. When I'd told her I'd been molested - about 10 years after the fact, her words to me were, "I told you not to let anyone touch you!" And to this day, she STILL sees nothing wrong in that statement.

But this goes way beyond teenage stuff. I am bipolar. She has never accepted it. Never tried to understand it. She has never tried to help me keep the symptoms under control . . . Instead, her house, her house, her house . . . Her house is more important that anyone or anything living in it. It's always been about her HOUSE. Who cares about anyone! The HOUSE has to look like a museum!

And so, today is my daughter's 11th birthday. You'd think she'd actually be NICE . . . Well, not my mother . . . She starts in on my AND my daughter about everything she can. Just today, she's caused Cassie to cry at least three separate times . . . threated to kick us out. Told me that I was a liar and a thief! When I confronted her about the thief part, you know what she had to say? That I'm a thief of her time!!! WHAT?! So I told her if I was, she was just as bad! I mean, don't you think, if I could I would be GONE! If I had the money I would be so out of here. She would NEVER hear from me again. No her, not my siblings . . . no one in her fricken little family! I HATE THEM ALL! If I had any alternative other than a shelter, I would take it. But all I have is my kids and my things - some of which I've had since I was a kid. To lose those would be losing that last bit of me that still exists.

And besides trying not to cry myself, all I can think of . . . all I can dream of when I close my eyes is cutting myself . . . Just cutting on myself to see the blood come out. Believe it or not, it calms me down. It's twisted, but true. I've only resorted to that once and I put MYSELF in the hospital. But I feel so close to that line right now. Do you think she cares? No . . . In fact, I think she would love to see me go over the edge . . . lose the kids . . . be on the streets or at least come begging her for whatever she wants . . . I guess to give her my soul for whatever acceptance she'll dole out, which is NOTHING. This might be all personal and sound like I'm just whining and feeling sorry for myself . . . but you have no idea what I go through. I try so hard to hang on. It takes so much out of me just to get through a single day . . . and I get no help in staying stable. In fact, I am only continually destabilized here.

As it is, I am considering going to the ER and if nothing else having them give me something to calm me down. My lower back is killing me too. This has just been a shitty day all around. I don't know how much worse it could have gotten for Cassie and I . . . except having my mother die and being left at my sister's bidding. I hate them so much . . . I would leave and go away and never come back. I am not staying because I want anything from her when she dies. I have what I want from her actually. I just want to go away and leave these people far behind before I hurt myself or god-forbid someone else.

Crazy Life of Mine

Well, for me it's the end of the year rush and it's becoming busier that usual with appointments. I have an eye exam appointment on Tuesday. I already know I need glasses. I have been needing them for years. I guess taking Cassie in finally pushed me to make an appointment for myself.

Then on the 6th I have a pdoc appointment. Cassie has a pdoc appointment for assessment on the 10th and then I have a parent-teacher conference for Cassie on the 17th. Nothing like being busy!

Plus Jason and Susan are going out of town for 10 days and we are watching the cats. Somehow Greg needs to get his van fixed since his stupid father has hit it twice with his car . . . Idiot. He REALLY shouldn't be driving. I mean, once could be an accident, you know? But TWICE??? Yeah . . . He shouldn't be driving PERIOD! Because of that the passenger side door won't open so I have to sit in the back. It makes Greg feel like a chauffer and I can't blame him! It's nuts to have to do that.

Oh and Cassie is running for Fire Marshal at her school! We made posters Sunday night - two of them. Then Tuesday night we made badges for her to hand out. It was a lot of work, but she got to hand them out today. It's a good thing because tomorrow she won't be at school. She has a field trip to the Science Center. Then on Friday she gives her speech!

Then, of course, we have the kids bdays coming up. Cassie's is going to be at the Embassy Suites again. The guy Jason works for is going to do the same thing for her again this year that he did last year; free movies for the night and send up free food! Is that not sweet?? Jordan will just have some friends over to spend the night. Not many . . . maybe two or three. They will stay in Jordan's room mostly playing his video games! Like who didn't know that?? LOL! I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving . . . Soon it will be Christmas and a whole new year . . . Frightening. LOL! Ah well . . . Busy, busy, busy!!

Thought I'm tired, guess there's no real rest in sight! LOL! No rest for the wicked I guess! ;-P
