Okay, I didn't wake up when I thought I might. I didn't sleep and each time I tried waking up it just didn't work. So again I slept until about 1:00pm. But I DID get my mother to the bank and then we went to Walmart. It was cool. She just wanted me to get socks and a scarf for Cassie. Well, they didn't have anymore of the scarves my mom had found last time. That happens at Walmart. You gotta grab it when you see it or else. LOL! Anyway, I found TOE SOCKS!! Cassie loves toe socks. Of course I called her to confirm so I guess she's going to know one thing she's getting. But I basically went to McDonald's and got a soda and a McDouble and looked over a Woman's World magazine. They didn't have personal insight in this one, but that's okay. They better have one next week though! LOL!
Anyway, on the way home, we swung by Amaya to pick Jason up, then went home. He carried in the stuff instead of me having to get Jordan which was nice. We stayed for a little bit but he convinced me to take him home. I decided it would be a good idea because I could stop at the bank and check my balance. I did and my money had come it!! I was so excited!! So I took Jason home. Went in long enough to go to the bathroom and then I headed to Grossmont. I got myself two Tess Gerritsen books from Barnes and Noble. Then I went to Walmart and got Cassie "Beautiful Darkness" and "Hush Hush" since "Beautiful Chaos" was too expensive. I also got Jordan "Assassin's Creed Revelations." I'm just glad there are books he's willing to read!! I think I'm going to give him the balance of the $20 I have allocated for Christmas for him and wrap up each bill or something. LOL! I don't know. I'll have to think about it. I also got my mom's Christmas gifts to Jordan. I got him a shit I think is hilarious. It says "Same Shirt Different Day" on it and since he wears his clothes more than once I think it's funny! I just hope he does too! I also got him socks. What's really cool is I don't feel like the kids are going to be lacking this Christmas. It's like at least I have stuff for them. I guess it's easier when I know there are things that I can get them that aren't too expensive. Like Cassie's books since she's a reader now. It was under $20 to get her two books! I mean, that's awesome!! I did, however, forget to get toilet paper so I hope my mom can cover me. And I don't know if I'm going to be able to go to a Chinese Buffet or not. I want to, but if I don't have the money, I don't have the money. Christmas is more important to me.
Well, outside of getting Cat littler, Cat food, nose spray and vitamins, that was everything. Now I just wait until I have my food money. Then I'm going to get stuff for Jordan and Cassie's stockings - if I can find them or buy cheap ones again - and then things like Jones Soda for gifts too. I'll have to see how much it is, but either way I'm really liking this season so far!
I've also done some working on Cafemom. I joined a couple more groups. Or rather I joined one for sure. I have applications in to two others maybe three. But no new members for my "Christmas Dreaming" yet, but we'll see what happens. I actually had one of my members post a recipe today in "I'm Not Fat! I'm Fluffy!" which was AWESOME!! So even though there hasn't been enough action for me, it's been good. I also posted things in "The Writer's Workshop" as resources to help other writers.
I haven't worked on my fan fiction today. In fact, I still might tonight, but I'm kind of tired so we'll see. TV kind of sucked tonight. I watched "Criminal Minds" which there were a couple of episodes I hadn't seen before so that was cool. But I went to watch "Sanctuary" only to find out it was the same episode they showed on Tuesday. Ugh! Then I have a re-run of "Fact or Faked." But that's okay. It's mostly been background noise anyway.
Guess that's it! I'll try to sleep tonight as always and probably like always I won't sleep until late. Ah well.
